About Lexnesia

Independent regulatory AI infrastructure for civil law jurisdictions.

What we do

Lexnesia is a regulatory AI engine. We parse Indonesian regulations at the clause level, build the amendment and cross-reference graph between them, and produce answers that are cited to a specific Pasal — clickable, verifiable, and grounded in retrieved primary text.

Who we're for

Lawyers, tax advisors, and accountants at Indonesian and foreign-investor-serving firms; corporate legal, compliance, and finance teams; law students; and individuals navigating regulated situations where professional advice is out of reach.

What makes us different

Common-law legal AI (Harvey, Casetext, Legora) is built around case-law precedent search — the primary authority of common-law systems. Indonesia is a civil law jurisdiction: statutes are primary, case law is secondary. Retrofitting a common-law engine here is a rebuild, not a translation. Over 60% of the world's population lives under civil law systems. We're building the infrastructure that serves them, starting with the most complex proving ground.

Where we're going

Indonesia is our beachhead, not our ceiling. The engine is jurisdiction-agnostic — the same architecture serves Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and any civil law market with no serious AI incumbent. Adjacent domains — tax and accounting — share the same reasoning primitives and are on our near-term roadmap.

Who built it

Founded by Sendy — 20 years senior executive across Indonesian banking, insurance, and fintech. Ex-BCG. Ex-Head of Strategy at Bank Central Asia. Ex-CEO of KreditGoGo and Futuready.com. Ex-Director of IT and Digital Experience at Bank Sinarmas. IT Maestro of the Year 2025. Currently a law student at Universitas Indonesia — a customer for the product being built.

What we don't do

We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. Every answer we produce is research-grade output for lawyer or advisor review, not for direct end-client delivery. The lawyer, tax advisor, or accountant is always in the loop.
